Program Notes:

Two Recollections is a short work for large chamber ensemble. The first movement is minimalist in nature, with a short repeating fragment in the harp. The second movement is contrapuntal in nature, featuring a more dissonant language. These movements reflect my divergent musical interests at the time. The work was read by the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group in March 2017.
