Wind ensemble Proposal 2018-2019

Chris Cresswell and Black Tea Music are excited to announce a new Wind Ensemble Commissioning Consortium Project for the 2018-2019 season. An award winning composer, Chris Cresswell’s “original, bold, and attention grabbing” sound world blurs the lines between ambient, noise, electronic, and classical music. Having grown up performing in concert bands and wind ensembles, he is excited to once again bring this sound world to the wind ensemble world. His most recent wind ensemble work, in the space that separates, was commissioned by Central Dauphin and Central Dauphin East High Schools in coordination with Composers and Schools in Concert. This new work will be a Grade 5 or 6 work for wind ensemble and electronics. To learn more about the project please read the proposal below.
